How it works
STEP 01
Two to eight, and saved players keep their stats between nights. Then pick a single game or start a Dartful Party.
STEP 02
Real dartboard, real darts. Two taps per throw, and the app remembers the rules better than the group does.
STEP 03
Results land in match history, party records and head‑to‑heads. You just bring the darts.
The lineup
Nine classics done properly, eight party games you've almost certainly never played, and three co‑ops where everybody loses together. The seventeen competitive modes are the ones eligible for Dartful Party.
Race to zero with the in/out rules of your choice, then string legs into a full match.
Close out 20 through 15 and the Bull first, then pile points on anything they haven't.
Earn your number, become a Killer, then hunt down every other player's lives.
Single, double and triple on the same number in one visit — instant win.
1 to 20 in order, finish on the Bull. The purest test of aim there is.
Twelve unforgiving rounds. Miss the target and watch half your total disappear.
Nine innings, one number per inning. See how many runs you can drive in.
Fewest strokes wins. Triples are your friend; misses cost you dearly.
Start at 27, take every double in order. Miss and it costs you double the number.
Bank points near the bull, dodge the Ring of Fire — highest score after every round wins.
Hit your own number to move forward, hit theirs to send them back.
Land exactly on zero using only addition and multiplication. Brutal to pull off.
One random target — hit it or lose a life.
Claim four numbers in a row around the board — and defend your turf.
Every visit has to beat the one before it. Fall behind and you're out.
Call your shot, then back it up. Miss and you pick up a letter.
Race your own clock around the board, or break off to attack any opponent and push them back.
One team, one board on fire. Put every blaze out before it spreads.
Hit the sequence together before the team runs out of darts.
Stack the team's score and build to the target height before time runs out.
Questions, answered
A local multiplayer darts app for a real dartboard. Twenty game modes, Dartful Party championships, player profiles and match history — and no pressure to be any good at it.
Yes. Saved players keep a profile with their match history and stats — games played, wins, best checkout and results per mode — kept over time instead of wiped at the end of the night.
Yes. Head‑to‑head records between saved players, all‑time leaderboards and win streaks mean your rivalries finally have a scoreline instead of two conflicting memories.
A multi‑game championship for 2–8 players. Pick a Quick, Classic or Epic length, choose from 17 eligible competitive modes or let Surprise Me build a balanced lineup, tweak the rules, then play for championship points with live standings, final‑round scenarios, awards and a shareable result card. Co‑op games sit outside the championship and stay available on their own. Full details here.
Yes. Every party is saved with titles, podium finishes, total championship points, win streaks and the current defending champion. More on Dartful Party.
Yes. The all‑time leaderboard ranks everyone by titles won, with podiums and total points beside them, and marks whoever is defending. See how history and rivalries work.
Yes — any standard board and any darts, including the bent ones. You tap your throws in; no electronic board, no camera, no calibration.
That's the whole point. Two to eight players on one screen, the app handling every rule, and party games that don't care what your average is.
Eight original ones, plus three co‑ops where the whole group plays as one team — alongside nine classics scored properly. See the full lineup.
Two to eight on one shared screen, across competitive, team and co‑op modes. Most modes work from two players up — a few, like Checkout Horse, need at least three. Eight is chaos. Eight is recommended.
Free to download with three games a day. Unlimited play and Dartful Party are $9.99 a year, with no ads or other purchases.
No account to start a game. Play is local and shared‑screen, and profiles, history and Party records live on the device — so it works fine in a shed with bad reception.
The games are family‑friendly, but darts are pointy — kids should be supervised, with age‑appropriate kit and a clear throwing area.
Yes. New modes turn up in app updates — and the twenty listed here all work right now.
Who makes this
I'm a solo developer, and I'm resolutely average at darts. What I actually enjoy is playing with mates — and it's the arcade modes we keep coming back to, funnily enough.
I built Dartful because it's the app I wanted for our own nights — proper scoring for the classics, plus a pile of games built around a real board with people in the room. Then we started caring who'd won the most, so it learned to keep records too.
If you've got a mode in mind, send it to me — dartfulapp@gmail.com. I'd rather keep the list tight than pile things on for the sake of it, but if it's a good idea, I'll find room for it. And somewhere down the track I'd like to ship a mode builder, so you can put together whatever game you can dream up.
Free on the App Store and Google Play. Twenty modes, Dartful Party championships, full match history, three free games a day, and absolutely no judgement.
